Smartwatch Giveaways Lead Wearables Device Disscussion

Wearable technology can take several forms. Sensors can be embedded in a watch, glasses, running shorts, a hat, a post-op patch, and much more. In wearables discussion of device categories on Twitter during the first half of May 2016, smartwatches dominated mindshare. Smartwatch giveaways led buzz, as several people participated in contests in attempts to win a device. Connected devices are gaining buzz as sensors are being used in several personal devices to create a web of devices with the potential to communicate.
